Very easy

Service was good, but the staff's English at the Avignon location was not very strong, probably because they get fewer foreign visitors. When signing the receipt, I didn't understand it at first and the explanations were unclear, but I eventually figured it out using my phone to check the numbers. Also, I'm not used to driving a manual car, so I didn't know how to shift into reverse when parking. I had to ask someone on the street for help, which was embarrassing. Don't expect the staff to give you a tutorial, so if you're not familiar with manual cars, it's best to test everything before driving and ask questions immediately if you have any doubts.

Very close to the airport and train station, the signage is very prominent.

Our own car was in the garage and we ditn't know when is was finished. We had to go to our holiday adress 200 km futher. We asked if it was possible to call the bext day to hire the car 1 day longer if necessary. This was unfortanately not possible. We only cpuld hire the car at that moment for 1 day extra.

Service from Hertz in Lille centre was fine once we located the correct office. (see next field). Hertz staff gave us good advice which we heeded, e.g. GPS, auto Versus manual, choice of model. On return of car we forgot to mention to Hertz staff that we noticed one of the reversing lights wasn't working on the Peugout 2008 (FE108FX). I hope they will notice this on their vehicle safety check before
