Quick and efficient. They do promote insurance, but if you say no, they respect your choice without any hassle. There's no need to stick to rental companies inside the airport terminal, as this limits your options. Many rental companies are just a few minutes' walk from the airport, so you can choose those with better reviews and a wider range of vehicles.

The worst experience ever with check in! Waiting 3 hours, or you can skip line with buying extra products! Better to buy expensive car rental, than this experience. Awoid Sicily by car. Or other experience nice, but check in horrible.

The entire pickup process was appalling. The ticketing system in place doesn't work (people push, miss their numbers and return later) and we had to wait for well over 2 hours past our pick up time. One of the staff members was also quite rude (although the lady who eventually served us was fine). Each customer took so long to deal with - they really need to modify the collection process.
