This SUCKED I arrived. The budget counter could not find my reservation. Once I show them they then found 2 reservations. They could not figure it out so sent me into the main desk. These people were incompetent. I waited 30 min. Then when they got to me they told me that I had to wait 45 min for a car. Then at 45 min I check and they told me that they had no cars and there were > 10 people ahead of me. I walked over to Avis and book a car. I missed my appt.

The only thing we didn't care for was all the electronic warnings on the Rav 4 that beeped everytime you came close to a vehicle, close to a line marker, over speed, etc. The whole rental experience was fine.

Like: While the line was outrageously long (and we even arrived earlier than expected), the staff were friendly, seemed honest and authentic, and were professional (despite having to engage with cranky customers who were not happy about the line). They provided detailed instructions for returning the vehicle including where to get gas beforehand. They also helped me decide which vehicle to choose based on my needs and it was fantastic! Super smooth ride, really clean (almost brand new), newer model. Returning it was also easy and very efficient - not to mention I was met with yet another friendly staff. Very professional team you've got at Myrtle Beach Budget. Additionally, I was worried about my reservation not being honored after reading reviews for EasyRentCars, but I had no issues. I'd printed everything out and had it all ready to present at the counter. No questions and no issues.
Dislike: The line to pick up the vehicle. But that was Budget and Avis' fault for merging their customers into one line.
