Probably because it was late, there was no shuttle bus from the airport to the pickup point, which wasn't close by. We had to spend 25 euros on a taxi. The service lady kept pushing insurance on us, even though we told her we had full coverage. This wasted 30 minutes of our time.

Make sure you add the full insurance package from the rental company. When I picked up the car, they only charged a €100 fuel deposit, which was really straightforward.

“Terrible. Never dealing with your company or Gold Car ever again and advising everyone against it”

Upon pick up, I was informed I would not be handed the keys unless I paid for extra insurance. This was not advised to me at any process of the car rental portion. I ended up paying over $500 more for the car than initially told. Not once was I advised about this.
