There were no signs in English at the drop-off location. It took over 2 hours to find out that the car should be returned to the ticket office inside the train station, which also had no signs in English. The company had no staff there, and only the ticket office helped collect the car keys. This is absolutely unacceptable. All subsequent plans including train and flight tickets were ruined! No compensation was given. This is terrible!

We picked up the car at Munich Airport. After we declined the offer for a larger car and additional insurance, the staff gave us the keys and told us to find the car ourselves. The instructions were unclear, and we spent a very long time looking for it.

Europcar followed standard procedures, nothing much to say.

Very dissatisfied: 1) The store selected for car rental was Kiel downtown, the address shown was Dusternbrooker Weg, and there was no specific building number. According to the map, there was no store at this location. 2) Based on the store's name Ostseekai, we went to Ostseekai, but there was no one there. Called customer service and they said Ostseekai is only for people coming off the cruise, and there is usually no one there. However, I did not receive any such reminder when making the reservation. 3) The main store in Kiel sent someone to pick me up, and I successfully rented the car, but the car given to me was a two-door, while my order clearly stated I wanted a four-door. The store staff just said: all our cars have been rented out. Next time I will choose Enterprise. If the car I want is not available, they'll give you an upgrade rather than a downgrade.
