I was extremely satisfied with the service at the Avis store at Glasgow Airport. After explaining that we had already purchased insurance from QEEQ, they didn't try to upsell additional insurance. The vehicle was new and in excellent condition. We were given a Volkswagen Polo that was registered in the first half of 2021 and had only 9,955 km on it, basically a new car. They held a deposit of £200 during the rental, but the refund process was incredibly fast. We returned the car at 6 PM on the 14th, and by 7 AM the next morning, we received a notification from the bank that the pre-authorization hold was lifted. This speed deserves a big thumbs up.

I pick up the car at night so I didn't really check it thoroughly before driving off. The next morning I discovered that the seats are full of bread crumbs which is probably left by the previous user. Overall the car is ok except for dirty seats.

I booked the car for business use. I received a better car than expected. It was a pleasure to drive and very helpful with built in sat nav and bluetooth. The cruise control was also nice to use on the motorway and made driving easier than my normal old car which I use for personal use.
