Received a car better than expected.

The car was as expected but the counter staff were not. They tried to push me into extra insurance. Which I didn't need and indicated I could not get the car unless I agreed to the insurance. After I contacted customer service it was resolved. Not what you need after a 12 hour flight and need to make an appointment.

Worked fine.

Fast and easy rental, polite staff, try to sell extra and upgrade but in good way. return was great, drop the key and got confirmation later.

On the second occasion, I did not get the car I booked, an Opel Astra, I got a smaller Opel/Vauxhall Corsa, which was fine but not what I booked.

The small car that we hired wasn’t available on arrival. Infact there were no cars available! The next available car was given to someone else who was waiting. We eventually ended up with a large Volvo V40 which was very thirsty on diesel. We hadn’t bargained on this extra expense!

After a long haul overnight flight I was horrified to find almost 20 people in front of me waiting to collect a car. The process took almost 1.5 hours. The staff were polite but there were just 3 people working and a wait of this length was extremely frustrating and totally unacceptable. Poor show and very unprofessional for an international company.
