Local Italian rental company. You absolutely need your Chinese license, the little white booklet, plus notarization and Hague certification before you can pick up the car. The front desk staff speak English. They tried to upsell no-full-tank return and towing services, but I didn’t take any of that. Just took the paperwork, walked out of the train station, and picked up the car at the dedicated parking lot next door.
