English speaking staff. Everything explained properly, but additional fees to remove excess quite pricey.

Booking said it was In-terminal collection - this wasn’t true! Rental pick up was off-site. Address given is different when put into google maps, so when on foot was a nightmare to find. Didn’t have the car I booked. Petrol wasn’t full. Got charged to wash the vehicle on drop off (no other provider does this). Wasn’t made clear enough that you had to call them on arrival (no other provider does this) to be collected. When given shuttle back to airport they didn’t even drop us at departures, was left on road about 1/2 mile away. All round poor experience and won’t use again or recommend

Ecovia staff very nice and professional. Car was ok but I didn't get the car I booked. This seems pretty standard nowadays. I booked a Kia Rio and got a Fiat 500L. It was ok in terms of getting luggage in but very underpowered fully loaded. It also had severe damage to the rear passenger door which wasn't marked on the rental doc. I had to ask it to be!

The counter staff in Bologna went above and beyond to help us and were very helpful and understanding! The staff in Rome were very efficient.
