I booked a car from Avis, but ended up with a car from a brand called DR. After searching online, I found out that DR is a brand authorized by Chery for sales in Italy. Overall, the car was in good condition, with about 8000 km of mileage, and it was fairly new.

I don't understand English or Italian at all, but with the tour guide's help, I successfully rented a car. I prepaid the full amount on the QEEQ website, and at the store, I only needed to use a credit card to hold a deposit of over 90 Euros. The deposit was released after returning the car. Reminder: make sure to buy insurance on the QEEQ website! Otherwise, the car rental company in Italy will make you buy their full insurance, which costs 45 Euros! QEEQ only costs a few dozen yuan!

I upgraded my car to a bigger and the counter staff was more than willing to cooperate. Not many people on pickup because its still early. Car was not washed before pick up but not too dirty. I sent the car while the drop off point is still closed. Overall experience was good.

We booked the vehicle for 8:30 am. When we arrived at 8:35 the branch was still closed. The clerks arrived only around 8:45 and the whole process until we left took over half an hour. When we returned the vehicle we arrived at 9:15 am and the clerk asked us to wait until he was done with another customer. A process that took him a long time.
