Quick and easy

I previously heard that many car rental companies in the UK use tricks, but this one was quite good. Although they did mention once or twice about upgrading to a more expensive car or adding insurance, once I firmly declined, there was no further pushing. This level is understandable. Overall, everything went smoothly.

It feels great.

We originally selected a Ford Focus, but at the store, we were directly upgraded to an MG SUV. It could hold more luggage, had more space, and was enjoyable to drive. It took us to more places in the UK, and we thoroughly enjoyed this trip!

Staff arrived to work 15 minutes after the desk opening times. All other rental desks were operational from 8AM except Budget who started at 9 (well 9:15). That was very annoying!

the van exceeded my expectations, the staff who gave me van were excellent, the night before I handed vehicle back someone damaged the van outside my house, the damage charge was £366 which for a 2 inch scuff was excessive, and even though I had just filled the vehicle with fuel the man gave me a fuel charge which he did not tell me about which was just plain sneaky.
