The car I booked was the car I got. The staff were friendly, and they let me pick up the car more than an hour earlier without any issue. There were no upselling tactics or unclear charges, and the deposit was refunded promptly. Since I'm not a skilled driver, I chose to purchase the full local insurance. The car was in great condition and easy to drive. One suggestion: avoid returning the car in downtown Paris at all costs—the traffic is absolutely terrible!

I rented a car from Avis this time. A big brand does live up to its name. There was no need to queue during pickup, the process was simple, and they didn’t try to sell me insurance. They just handed me the keys, and the car was parked right across from the counter. The staff said if I was concerned, I could take some pictures for my own records. When I returned the car, they didn’t even inspect it. They just took the keys and told me I was good to go—very straightforward! Before I even left the parking lot, they refunded the 200 euros deposit to my account—super efficient! For picking up the car, it was relatively easy to find. It’s at Hall 3 of Lyon Train Station. If you’re taking the metro, after entering the station, go straight towards Hall 3, then take the elevator in the parking area down to level -1. Once you exit the elevator, you’ll see the Avis sign. A special note about returning the car—it was really hard to find the location. Even though my navigation app said I arrived, it was on my left-hand side but I couldn’t find the entrance. I asked several passersby, but none of them knew either. I ended up driving around and using the navigation app again. After trying multiple times, I finally spotted a QEEQ return location sign ahead, which led me to realize that the parking lot was there.

Returning a car at Paris North Station is quite troublesome and the process is somewhat inefficient. Other aspects are fine, but the tire pressure was low and the car wasn't very clean inside.

Had to wait in line a bit during pickup because there were some unusual customers ahead, like those without their own credit cards or wanting to use cash as a deposit. The staff handled it all calmly. Returning the car was very smooth, with the staff completing the inspection quickly.

The car rental staff were very friendly and helpful. When picking up the car, I didn’t like the reserved yellow-colored vehicle, so they immediately switched it to a Renault Captur. At drop-off, I informed the staff that the car wasn’t cleaned at pickup and that the drop-off location had been changed without prior notice. The staff quickly deducted 50 euros from the rental cost, which was very considerate. Additionally, regarding the absence of an environmental sticker on the car, we had to delay our journey to contact the rental company and QEEQ. The rental company provided no response, and QEEQ claimed they were reaching out to the rental company. The long communication process did not yield a definitive answer. The staff at the drop-off location clearly stated that rental cars in France no longer require an environmental sticker. Surprisingly, QEEQ also lacked this information.

Pretty good overall, but the preparation time was a bit long. I booked for 8:00 AM pickup, arrived at 9:00 AM, finished the paperwork by 9:20 AM, and was told the car would be ready by 10:00 AM. In the end, it was actually given to me at 9:45 AM. Everything else was great.

I accidentally chose a manual car, but the staff patiently explained everything and generously upgraded it for me. Remember to ask the staff for the exact return location when picking up the car. When returning, drive to the designated underground parking level as indicated by the company. For me, I drove directly to level B4, locked the car, and handed the keys to the staff, and that was it!

Got upgraded to opel corsa . Very nice staff . But one of the staff confirmed that any little chip or dent on the car cost a minimum 99 euro to the customer even if Hertz doesn’t fix it . So you have to be very careful and make sure you have recorded all little dents and scratches on the car which was not the case for me . I had to go back and get it reviewed which took a little bit of time . Drop off was very smooth .

Overall good experience with the rental. Confusion about the extra option of automatic refill of the car. On the rental agreement I noticed (a bit late) that I had agreed to this option, which I had not agreed to upon pickup. As a result I did not fuel it up myself, (since I thought the rental company would do this) for which I had to pay an extra charge. This was not good and not clear and not agreed upon rental.

it is easy to find Thrifty in CDG airport T1 just on the right with other companies (Hertz and Thrifty is together). We have waited like 15-20 mins at total. Car was in a good condition and they offer free peachy botted water and also they were helpful.

The car was brand new, exceptionally clean, easy to drive and we found the hire company easily after leaving the airport. We found the car very economical and perfect size for 2 people with a small amount of luggage. The only reservation we had was that in purchased full cover insurance to ensure we had zero excess upon damage and the counter person STILL tried to sell us further insurance?!

had problems with wi-fi and bluetooth. lost it in parkade at pickup. was told to move the car to outside building which lost wi-fi and bluetooth. first day was very frustrating until we found wi-fi and bluetooth. had to call Liigu on several occasions to either or unlock the vehicle for us. upon returning the vehicle we encountered an overloaded parkade at the Hilton and spent extreme amount of time waiting for someone to leave for a parking spot.

I'm copying my review on google to warn customers to stay away from Interrent: I highly recommend trying a different car rental service. Terrible experience picking up the car. Nearly 1 hour wait with only 3 customers in front of us before reaching the counter was just the beginning. The processing of our reservation was extremely slow and the personel (although friendly) were quite incompetent. My credit card did not work with their machine and they made me feel very bad about it, suggesting that maybe I didn't have enough funds for the >1200 euro deposit. We tried as well my partners card and again it didn't work. In the end, it worked perfectly on a different machine (which we suggested trying). We almost payed for an additional 90 euro deposit insurance because their credit card machine was not functioning. They did not appologize, only smiled and said we were lucky to avoid paying for the insurance. When we left I saw they made no move to remove the credit card machine and suspect they push customers into buying into this additional 90 euro insurance when their card "doesn't work".

Waited a very long time to be served, even though only 1 person ahead of me in queue. Car hire seemed to be a very long walk, with poor sign posting of location of car hire. They wanted to charge me a £50 penalty as fuel was only 9/10 full, so had hassle of finding petrol station to fill with another £7 of fuel. Would I use them again? Not in Paris because of the wait to collect car.

The reservation was for "Small SUV" Opel Mokka or similar. Unfortunately I was provided with a regular car and Interrent argued that the car is in the category of small SUV which was not true. They didn't have any SUV to offer. Citroen C4 Cactus is not SUV in my opinion.
