Old and reputable rental company with decent service. The Indian guy at the counter briefly mentioned their insurance package, I just said no and that was it, no hard sell. When returning the car they didn’t nitpick the condition, and the shuttle to the airport was quick and straightforward.

They still tried to upsell the super insurance, but we decided to pay a bit extra so we wouldn’t have the $1,000 rental deposit tied up on our card and could add an extra driver. If we’d known this in advance, we wouldn’t have bought the super insurance online and would’ve just added it at the counter to avoid paying twice. The deposit amount is high and the hold lasts for a long time.

A small thing – I couldn't find the control for the petrol tank door. The staff member at the petrol station found it for me. During the journey, I turned the radio on. Then I decided I didn't want it after all. But there was no way I could find to turn it off. Also I didn't see any cruise control. I see this as essential for country driving.
