Efficient!

Booked a Mercedes E, but upon arrival was told they didn't have a CLA. After a lengthy discussion, they finally provided a Mercedes C. Additionally, the deposit paid during rental has not been refunded after more than a month.

All good, but the petrol was not full when received and had to return full to avoid conflicts later.

Qeeq is great having using it for the last few years.

Easy booking process.

I was informed the Merc E Class was not available, which is understandable and would expect a ‘similar car’ in this range, however they didn’t have any other car in this category so downgraded me to a C Class which I told them is not big enough. The staff member (Clive) made promises for me to call back and change over the C class for an E class as he was ‘100% sure they will come back in stock’. I called everyday and not once did Clive return my calls nor were the staff helpful. I left 4 voicemails over a 4 day period with nobody returning my calls and even when I got through to staff, they promised to call back and never did.

On pick up the fuel gauge was not at the top. I filled the car the day before drop off and noticed when full the gauge does not go to the top. On the day of return I topped the cars fuel to full at a garage that was 10 miles away from the drop off( I have the receipt with date and time and garage). The gauge did not go to the top after filling again. Budget charged my card £16 when I returned home. I will be making a complaint to budget on Tuesday and will probably not use budget again.
