I actually went to a HERTZ store. I had an appointment to pick up the car at 9 AM, but since no one answered the phone when I called the store, I was worried they might not actually be open, so I ended up arriving around 10 AM. The staff member at the store initially told me that I was late and wanted to charge me a delay fee. Later, she mentioned I needed to purchase a €100 insurance but didn't explain it clearly with patience, just informed me about it and emphasized it was not mandatory. She said the email order she received didn't mention insurance, and when I showed her the reservation sheet, she didn't check it and simply replied, 'I don't understand,' before returning all my documents and asking me to contact customer service myself. After observing for a while, I noticed she spent quite a bit of time explaining this issue to the next two customers, but at least she gave them more detailed information than she did to me. Finally, at around 11:30 AM, I got the car, thanks to the timely callback from the customer service team at Zuzuche, who communicated with her again, and she finally clarified that the insurance was just being mentioned as an option.

Overall, it was okay. It took about an hour to get the car at the store. There was only one staff member who didn't speak much English, working very slowly and trying to upsell additional insurance. When renting the car, you have to go to the B2 parking garage to locate the vehicle yourself and figure out how to connect Bluetooth and set up navigation. Midway through, I tried to contact the rental company about return details, but the call had endless automated messages, and no one answered.

I was inexplicably charged an overtime fee. The invoice shows that I picked up the car at 3:13 PM, I parked the car in Hertz's designated spot before 3:00 PM, and handed over the keys around 3:00 PM. However, the return time mysteriously changed to 3:47 PM. By that time, I had already completed check-in and security procedures. The rental company used the time they inspected the car as my return time and unjustly charged the overtime fee, which is ridiculous.

The pickup information was different from what Zuzuche provided. The cross-border fee was said to be 16 euros on Zuzuche, but it was actually 30 euros. The insurance compensation from Zuzuche requires you to pay upfront.
