No lines, but the staff member was a rookie, so the process was a bit slow. It's recommended to communicate thoroughly and confirm details to avoid any mistakes with the insurance package at the store.
No need for a notarized driver's license translation; the car was picked up using QEEQ's translation booklet. Purchased full insurance from the rental company, which streamlined the vehicle inspection process.
This car rental experience had both surprises and minor inconveniences. Initially, a Volkswagen T-Roc was booked, but we ended up with a brand-new Nissan Qashqai, which was in excellent condition, had a clean interior, and offered a smooth driving experience. However, the Qashqai’s trunk space is indeed limited, making it less suitable for journeys with lots of luggage.
The rental company staff were enthusiastic and courteous; the pickup and drop-off process was seamless and efficient, with clear communication throughout. However, the cross-border fee of over 180 euros was unexpectedly high. At pickup, we were recommended to purchase a traffic violation insurance for around 68 euros—though slightly surprising, we accepted it for extra peace of mind. The trip is completed without receiving any violation notices so far, and we hope everything remains smooth. Overall, the experience was average, suitable for travelers who aren't picky about car models and value convenient service.
Overall good. They also recommended the full insurance from the rental company. They switched us to a DR car, which was in good condition but a bit large, making it quite challenging to navigate the underground parking in Madrid!
The vehicle experienced a breakdown, but it was promptly replaced. Additionally, the customer service from Zuzuche was very helpful, ensuring the issue was resolved smoothly. Overall, it's quite satisfactory.
Very satisfied, and the condition and model of the car were great. Spain is perfect for road trips; 98% of the highways are toll-free. Except for some congestion around Madrid and Barcelona city areas, other highways are wide and have very few cars. However, roads in certain old town areas can be quite narrow, requiring extra caution. During our 12-day trip across Spain covering 3100 km, renting a car was the best choice.
