My English is nearly non-existent, and I quit my job to come to New Zealand with my three kids to study. The challenges I faced at the beginning were overwhelming. I really appreciate the store's Chinese-language service—the staff were so warm and friendly. It gave me such comfort in a foreign country. This was my first time driving a right-hand drive car, and I arrived safely at my destination with sweaty palms. Just a reminder to everyone: safety first and drive with extra caution.

Rented a 2019 new car, but was given a 2013 car with 200,000 kilometers on it.

Overall satisfied. However, after the plane landed, the contact number on the 'pickup order' could not be reached. Not sure what went wrong. Eventually, I found the store's contact number through other means. It would be perfect if there were no issues with the phone number on the pickup order.

After landing in Auckland, I picked up my luggage and walked to Gate 1. I called the store in English, and they arrived to pick me up in less than ten minutes. Very convenient.

Returned and rented a car at the same store, the process was extremely simple.

The customer service is hard to reach, with both a headquarters and stores, and they close promptly at 6 PM, making it difficult to seek service after hours. The price is indeed cheap, but the condition of the car is quite mediocre.

This whole process was a dream . Transfer and pick up v easy and Chris on reception was a role model in customer service. He handled our queries exceptionally well and also the short notice extension- brilliant

This would have to be the worst car rental experience that I have ever experienced having rented cars in most continents. I will recommend everyone NOT renting from EZU. Firstly, it took well over 30 mins for the van to pick us up from the airport. Then the car given to us was over 10 years old and had over 210k kms on the clock. We picked the car up at night. Inside the car was a mess and I didn’t even want to sit in the car as it was filthy with 10 years of grime on the inside.. The rental form had that there were no defects on the car and given that we couldn’t see at night we looked the next morning. It would be lucky if any panels of the car weren’t scratched. We could barely get the car over 80 kms per hour and the car would then start to shake making the car very unsafe. We called the office to complain about these things and never got a return phone call. Having rented a lot of cars over the world, I am sorry to say that this is by far the worst experience that I have ever had. The only positive comment is that your team didn’t try and claim damage insurance on the car when I returned.

The reservation stated it was a 2019 car, but the actual car provided was a 2017 model (with mileage already at 190,000 km). The vehicle was in poor condition, with visible wear and tear, and the left rear light was slightly damaged. The front left headlight didn’t work either. The counter staff were indifferent—after completing the paperwork, they merely pointed to the car outside without any explanation or walkthrough. The car didn't have a phone holder, the wipers made strange noises. Fortunately, this trip was mainly within urban areas; if we had driven it to more rural places, the experience would have been nerve-wracking and stressful.
