I got a free upgrade to a Mitsubishi Outlander when picking up the car, but during the inspection, I noticed a nail in the tire. They replaced it with a Nissan X-Trail instead. When returning the car, I was worried that their 8 AM opening time might be too late, so I followed the instructions at their office to return the car at the Andrew parking lot next door, only to find they charged me AUD 45. I was speechless, but the service itself was fine. In hindsight, waiting for Apex to open and returning it there would have made no difference in reaching the airport on time. I suggest choosing basic insurance and then upgrading to full coverage for AUD 349 at the car rental location—the total cost is roughly the same. PS: Roadside assistance will cost AUD 250 regardless of the situation. Parking fines are very expensive, so make sure to follow traffic rules and check the signs!

It was very straightforward, they didn't even mention the car's condition. Later, I found there was damage when I looked at the photos. Returning the car was very easy, they only checked the fuel gauge.

Since it's a local car rental company, the prices are relatively affordable. Although the rental locations are generally not inside the airport, we still found pickup and drop-off very convenient.
