I previously heard that many car rental companies in the UK use tricks, but this one was quite good. Although they did mention once or twice about upgrading to a more expensive car or adding insurance, once I firmly declined, there was no further pushing. This level is understandable. Overall, everything went smoothly.

The service was good. At the time of pick-up, they didn’t push me to upgrade the car model or purchase insurance. They simply asked once if I needed insurance. Returning the car went smoothly, and the inspection took less than five minutes. However, there was a small issue. I had booked an automatic MG 3, but when I went to pick up the car, the staff mistakenly gave me a manual Citroën. I didn’t realize it at first and loaded my luggage into the car. Only then did I notice the error. After explaining the situation to the staff, they immediately replaced it with the automatic MG 3 I had originally booked. It didn’t feel intentional but rather an oversight by the staff. Additionally, while waiting for the rental company’s shuttle at Heathrow Airport, there seemed to be some issue with the shuttle service. I waited for over 20 minutes while shuttles from other rental companies made multiple rounds before Budget’s shuttle finally arrived. I almost missed my reserved pick-up time. One more thing: the car I was given had a license plate with the letter "O" in it. The letter "O" and the number "0" are very hard to distinguish, and the rental company didn’t clearly specify whether it was an O or a 0.

Very satisfied. During pickup, there were multiple car models to choose from. Insurance upgrades were introduced but not forcefully sold. After getting off the shuttle at the rental location, the staff member with a tablet started assisting right at the door without needing to enter the office. After filling out some simple information, I was taken to the parking lot to select a car.

I must write a detailed review for this perfect car rental experience! This time, I rented a Citroën SUV and discovered it had only been driven for over 7,000 kilometers—it was practically a brand-new car! The interior and exterior were spotless, as if it had just rolled out of the showroom, instantly boosting my impression of the store. Once I hit the road, the car's performance completely won me over—quick and responsive power, solid and stable handling, and a chassis that absorbed shocks with a refined feel, far exceeding my prior perceptions of the Citroën brand. Honestly, this rental experience made me rethink the brand, with driving quality so impressive that it even sparked thoughts of buying one myself! Beyond the vehicle, the store’s service was professional and efficient; the pick-up and drop-off process was smooth, and the staff were friendly. This experience taught me that a quality car rental company can not only provide convenience but also deliver delightful surprises. Overall it's acceptable, though we were very prepared in advance. We took comprehensive photos of the car, so there were no disputes afterward. Reminder to everyone: make sure to take photos of the car from all angles when picking it up and upload them to QEEQ just in case. The staff's attitude was good and they were quite patient. However, there was an issue when making the payment during pickup. The store's POS machine malfunctioned and maxed out a credit card. It was only after switching to a different POS machine that the payment went through. This not only wasted a lot of time but also caused inconvenience with subsequent card expenses.

Terrible service and very long wait for car. They would not accept my Amex card so I needed to make a payment to my Visa card as the deposit they asked for was GBP 1,260 which is ridiculous for a mini car. No Wifi available so I was forced to buy their insurance which was GBP 160 for the few days. I left feeling ripped off and will never use Goldcar again.

You definitely get what you pay for - they are cheap for a reason. After queuing for 90 minutes in the office, every other customer had problems of some kind all to do with inflexible and unrealistic policies. After my 90 minutes in the queue, 25 minutes to process the transaction, I then had to queue for a further 25 minutes while the car was cleaned. All in all, I spent 2.5 hours to collect a car. Never again!

This company are the worse bollocks I have ever come across. EWould NOT give me a car that I had paid for because they said my drivers licence was not mine. WTF....... I had o2 bill, code from DVLA, everything registered to address on my licence which was mine. THIS IS A SCAM BEWARE OF INTERRENT. I was not the only one this happened to when I was waiting.

Booked the rental for 8 am pick up only to find the office was still closed. Found telephone number on internet as no telephone number, help or advice to be found at the rental cabin. Called interrent and was told in a very dismissive tone, I would just have to wait until the staff got their. Not a good first impression at all. When staff appeared (8:15) no apology or even acknowledgment that I had been waiting for the 8am collection. Was given an upgrade to a “Mitsubishi” which was actually a MG3. No complaint about the car or the value for money but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

Booking through the domestic QEEQ website was very smooth. However, the company will try to sell you extra insurance when you pick up the car. You can choose based on your own needs. You can refuse it without any problem. I declined because I already purchased additional coverage on the QEEQ website. I returned the car at Heathrow Airport at 9:20 PM. The staff was very friendly and informed me that their shuttle bus runs at 9:30 PM and they would quickly process my return. Sure enough, they completed the car inspection and paperwork in about five minutes and then took the three of us to the departure terminal. Two days later, the £150 deposit was refunded to my credit card. Highly recommended.
