The service was acceptable. They may ask you to add insurance, but it's okay if you don't. However, I don't understand why the store was closed when I returned the car. On that day, the Budget store had no staff, so I returned the car at the Avis return point next door. They said it's the same company, so I was able to return the car there. The return process was quick; they checked that the fuel tank was full, started the car to make sure everything was fine, and that was it. No additional charges.
Overall very satisfied. The car was in good condition, and Turkey is great for self-driving. Summer is too hot, and having a car makes it much more comfortable.
I chose Budget, and their overall service efficiency was excellent with no delays. Both pickup and return inspections by the staff took about 5 minutes. The cars were clean and odor-free, and the condition of the vehicles was relatively good.
The service was excellent. The parking lot for picking up the car is about a 5-minute walk from the airport, which is very convenient. The car was in great condition, practically brand new with only 6000 kilometers. The pick-up process was straightforward and efficient with no upselling, and the communication was pleasant.
Purchased comprehensive insurance for peace of mind, but at pickup the staff mentioned that in case of an accident, they wouldn't handle it directly. Instead, I would have to pay upfront and request reimbursement from Zuzuche, and there's also a deductible. Their explanation was not reassuring at all. Contacted Zuzuche customer service, and they also mentioned the deductible. Totally confused about the whole situation, but fortunately, the trip went smoothly without any incident.
